thINK 2025 Executive Planner

Canon hosts an annual summit for the company’s sales team to outline the year’s goals and initiatives. In previous years, Canon has produced a fun, interactive executive planner as a free giveaway for attendees, and the planner also functions as a resource to highlight member benefits of thINK, an independent community of Canon production inkjet customers and print industry experts. 

For the 2025 edition of the thINK executive planner, Canon wanted to continue to showcase how their digital inkjet presses combine flexible, efficient print processes with stunning image and color quality, but with an added emphasis on unique, innovative finishings.  

Solution

First, to help enhance the value and utility of the planner, we designed several spreads using the theme of Did You Know?, featuring valuable information about thINK membership, reminders about upcoming events like the annual thINK Ahead, and fun facts about Canon’s digital inkjet press capabilities. These pages also include interactive components like quick response (QR) codes that launch digital content like videos and website pages. 

The cover of the 2025 planner is where we let the sensory power of finishings take center stage. The cover featured soft-touch laminate, spot gloss UV coating, and silver foil, each of which play a key role in creating a dynamic, visually appealing introduction to the planner. 

For the internal pages, we took design cues from the changing seasons, using colors that reflect and reinforce winter, spring, summer, and fall vibes. This helps showcase the ability of Canon’s inkjet presses to create stunning full-color quality across a wide, diverse gamut of color.

With this year’s executive planner, attendees had a vibrant, engaging organizational tool that was just as beautiful as it was functional.
