A Stunning Course Catalog for An Interactive Online Academy
By TrekkCanon wanted to make a splash launching and promoting the thINK Academy, a digital learning database sponsored by thINK, which is an online community of Canon’s digital inkjet customers. The academy features interactive live and on-demand classes covering a wide range of topics related to inkjet print, including best practices for design and layout, how specific industry verticals can benefit from moving to digital inkjet, and project inspirations to fuel inkjet creativity and exploration.
Canon wanted to create a high-quality print piece that demonstrated the stunning print and color quality of digital inkjet technology, and one that also enticed thINK members to enroll in thINK Academy courses.
We designed a bold, full-color booklet of course offerings to announce the launch of the thINK Academy, complete with descriptions of each course, the instructor leading each course, and information about both live and on-demand sessions to help members participate in ways that worked best for their individual schedules. The catalog also included course themes — like sales or marketing — to help members better identify the courses they’d most like to attend.
Members who complete thINK Academy courses receive a certificate of completion that features a variety of unique finishings and color treatments to transform these certificates into a true showpiece. We incorporated several of the same finishings and treatments into the cover of the catalog as a way to showcase the kind of unique print piece members receive as recognition for participating in thINK Academy courses.
